Foreign dancers compete in Hanoi’s international open dancesport championships

The championships witnesses the participation of dancers from Vietnam and 12 countries and territories worldwide. They compete across four categories, including international open standard adult, international open Latin adult, open standard youth, and open Latin youth. A couple from the Czech Republic are among the first athletes to participate in the tournament. Dancers from the Republic of Korea put on a Latin performance at the competition. A performance put on by Vietnamese couple Hoang Duc Tuan and Do Phuong Uyen in the international open Latin adult category Dmitri Kolobov and Signe Busk of Denmark come first in the international open standard adult category. Japanese dancers Hiroaki Onishi and Sakina Onishi rank fifth in the international open Latin adult category. A national treasure of Hanoi women’s painting by To Ngoc Van

Among To Ngoc Van’s 59 artworks preserved at the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum, “Two Maidens and a Little Boy” made many viewers pause for a long time when visiting gallery No.9 on the second floor. President Sends Condolences over Seoul Stampede

UNSC’s Counterterrorism Committee Meets in India’s Iconic Cities: FS Kwatra

A file picture of UNSC Foreign secretary Vinay Kwatra on Saturday said that it is a historical moment that United Nations Security Council’s counterterrorism committee held its deliberations in India’s iconic cities — New Delhi and Mumbai. “I would thank all the council members for endorsing Delhi Declaration. It is for the first time ever, that the council held its deliberations in two of India’s iconic cities. For the very first time ever, the Security Council came to India and held its discussions in Mumbai and Delhi,” Kwatra said. Photo: Plan International Vietnam The Hanoi Industrial Vocational College (HNIVC) as the main host, in coordination with Plan International Vietnam, has officially organized a launching event of the project “Ready for Work – Covid-19 recovery and digital economy,” supported by Standard Chartered Foundation (SCF). According to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), in 2021, around 18 million people work in the informal sector – hit hardest by the pandemic – with 60% of these being classed as youth (aged 15-24). There will also likely be a ‘crisis cohort’ with young people facing higher unemployment, lower pay, and worse job prospects for up to a decade. Vo Kim Ban of Saigon Heat This year marks the outstanding growth of Vo Kim Ban. The 22-year-old is an indispensable member of Saigon Heat, having competed in six consecutive VBA seasons. One of Ban’s highlights during this year’s tournament was his series of three successful three-points that helped Saigon Heat win against Cantho Catfish.
