The festival features a total of 120 pavilions of domestic and foreign restaurants, hotels, baguette shops, suppliers, and businesses.

The event also includes a ceremony which seeks to honour top long-standing and famous baguette brands in Vietnam, as well as a workshop on the development of Banh Mi in the country.

The organisers plan to hold the festival over the following years to popularize the Vietnamese delicacy globally.

Recently Banh Mi has ranked seventh among the best street foods in the world by TasteAtlas, a website dedicated to discovering fresh ingredients, traditional dishes, and authentic restaurants around the world. The Vietnamese baguette has also been named among the 50 best street foods in Asia by CNN.
