Exhibition features image of cat – zodiac animal for upcoming Lunar New Year

The exhibition drew the participation of various famous painters and artists who have made great contributions to Vietnamese fine arts. The exhibits, which were created using diverse materials including lacquers, oil paints, acrylics and coloured wood carvings, highlighted interesting and unique perspectives about this animal which is very close to humans. The event marked the hard work and serious creative journey of outstanding painters of contemporary fine arts to produce unique artworks as a gift to art lovers ahead of New Year 2023. The visit by Guterres is the fourth trip to Vietnam by a UN Secretary-General. The visit has been successful, helping to strengthen the relations between the UN and Vietnam, and contributing to promoting peace, sustainable development, climate change adaptation, and human rights in the world. During his visit from October 21-22, the UN Secretary-General had many important activities, including laying a wreath at and visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, paying a courtesy visit to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, holding talks with President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue. Saigon Heat the first team to win three consecutive VBA championship titles
